Traces of Iran is an ongoing series of drawings exploring the artist's alienated connection to her Iranian heritage. Khoshbin searches images of Iranian culture on the Internet while placing a piece of vellum on the computer screen. She then encapsulates the moment of browsing as one of both intimacy and anonymity by tracing her navigation history directly off of the screen into the hand-drawn interface.
